We Rejoice in Mary Davis

Early in 2014 Chris' sister began a missionary ministry to Haiti with a Pastor who had her same vision for souls. His visit with her to our church in video is linked at our site: http://aprayernotebook.net/each1helps1 She has been part of an evangelism reaching over 500 souls before October of this year. She found herself in the direct path of Hurricane Matthew, and has since been able to lead almost 40 to Christ in the storm's aftermath. All week long we awaited word from her not knowing whether she even survived. God answered in a dramatic way the next Sunday morning at the moment our Pastor Rowley prayed for her by name from the pulpit! We received the text that she was safe! Seated next to Christine was her sister Vicki Wise (here for that weekend only in a family visit)!

28^th Wedding Anniv. Trip to Mass Aug.18-19 We took time to study the work of two New England born World changer-men for our 28^th wedding anniversary by traveling to Northfield, MA (D.L. Moody) and then Stockbridge, MA (Jonathan Edwards). We learned that individual men can exert tremendous influence on this world. One of the many things D.L.Moody did was build an incredible campus in Northfield commanding a student school inhabiting a chapel seating 2200 persons in what is now a vacant property there! We walked through his homestead in an excellent tour. See much more at www.northfieldopportunity.org Jon Edwards left his church in North Hampton as a renown Theologian when his ministry became unwanted and moved to the mission frontier town of Stockbridge to work with Indians. We naturally honor this in anyone, and his family was FAR above many others in influence as well as Moody!

We celebrated Joseph's and Christine's birthdays together in January to honor also Joseph's joining our Business team.

In May we were able to travel to Pensacola to see Joseph graduate from Pensacola Christian College. He visited many student friends in his brief time there. We stayed in beautiful accommodations thanks to the generosity of Vicki Wise.

Joseph Patrick Lanyon

Joseph has become a great blessing to Our Family, To Truth Baptist, and to Pastor Harper in ministry. He also made himself busy this year setting up his bikes and then selling them on Craig's list. He truly has a gift to see a bike in his mind before he makes the 'pre-owned' bikes happily owned for a most reasonable price to each owner!
