The "Gift" of God is Eternal Life
Eph 2:8-9
For by grace are ye saved
through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
The truth is so simple it is stumbled over due to the many religions that base salvation totally upon works of man.
OUR SALVATION IS BY THE SOLE WORK OF JESUS CHRIST. SINCE HE IS GOD,
Re 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
Re 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

HE WAS ABSOLUTELY SINLESS,

The fact is clear from the dictionary definition:
- No good work can save any individual.
- The reverse is also implied: No
bad work can undo the saving work of Christ to redeem the one who
believes in Him.
KJV: Ro 4:6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,Tit 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Friend, God does not lie. Believe His word literally. So He meant it when He gave it!
NKJV Joh 10:28 "And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
